Pixel 4a 5g Pixel 5
In addition to launching the Pixel 5 today, Google unveiled the Pixel 4a 5G, a larger, 5G-enabled version of Google’s mid-range smartphone the Pixel 4a. It features a bigger 6.2in screen, larger battery, the same two cameras on the back and the same Snapdragon 765G chip as the Pixel 5, but has the same plastic body and design as its smaller, cheaper sibling.
Google Nest Audio
Google today launched the Nest Audio smart speaker, Google’s replacement for its original Home smart speaker from 2017. The new Google Assistant speaker looks more like a smaller version of Google’s big Home Max, with a full fabric-covered body, hidden LEDs on the front and a touch-sensitive top for volume and playback control.
Chromecast with Google TV

HarmonyOS
At the 2020 Huawei Developer Conference, Huawei Executive Director and CEO of Consumer Business Yu Chengdong announced the launch of HarmonyOS 2.0 and the official open source of HarmonyOS. Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei will officially release the Beta version for mobile phone app developers in December 2020 and that Huawei smartphones will fully support HarmonyOS in 2021.

Google Pixel 4a
Google launched the Pixel 4a back in August, and the mid-range smartphone is is now available to pre-order on O2, ahead of it going on sale on 1st October. The Pixel 4a has a 4.5% bigger screen than its predecessor but its body is 5.8% smaller overall. At only 144mm in length, 69.4mm in width, 8.8mm in thickness and weighing 143g, the Pixel 4a is one of the smallest phones you can buy in 2020.
Android 11
Google has officially rolled out Android 11 and in addition to its own Pixel brand, the following companies will be the first to offer downloads of Android 11: OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo and RealMe. Samsung, Huawei and LG typically take a little longer to adapt new features to their own user interfaces.
AAWireless
Developer Emil Borconi-Szdressy recently launched an Indiegogo campaign for an AAWireless USB dongle that adds wireless Android Auto to your existing car. You’ll need a car infotainment system with wired Android Auto support. While that’s increasingly commonplace, it does rule out upgrading an older ride.

Coronavirus
Google and Apple have updated their COVID-19 contact-tracing tool to make it possible to notify users of potential exposures to the novel coronavirus without a dedicated exposure app. Previously, users had to download a dedicated app from their local public health organisation in order for it to work, but now, both companies are integrating the technology more directly into their operating systems.
Apple has released iOS 13.7, which introduces a new Exposure Notifications System directly baked into the OS, to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning new system no longer requires a separate app to be downloaded. When you upgrade to iOS 13.7, you’ll see a new section of the Settings menu that includes a toggle to “Turn on Exposure Notifications.”
ZTE Axon 20 5G
ZTE has launched the first Android smartphone with a selfie camera under its screen. ZTE has leveraged additional under-display technologies, including ambient light, sound, and fingerprint sensors to achieve a true full screen without any punch holes. The innovative light sensor can automatically adjust the screen brightness in accordance to the light environment, allowing the display to be seen clearly anytime.
Huawei Car
At the 2020 China Auto Forum Huawei unveiled three car OS systems: the Harmony cabin operating system HOS, the intelligent driving operating system AOS and the intelligent vehicle control operating system VOS. The company also unveiled a cross-domain integrated software architecture dubbed Vehicle Stack.
macOS Big Sur

Apple has released iOS 13.5, which includes improved Face ID recognition of protective masks and support for the Exposure Notification API that it co-created with Google to support public health authorities in their contact-tracing efforts to combat COVID-19.
