Earlier this week, AWS and BlackBerry revealed they were joining forces to develop BlackBerry IVY, a scalable, cloud-connected software platform that will allow automakers to create personalized driver and passenger experiences and improve operations of connected vehicles with new BlackBerry QNX and AWS technology.
Shares in BlackBerry gained as much as 63.9 per cent in intraday trading on Tuesday following news of the deal with AWS.
