Vodafone extends £10 unlimited voice and 5G data plan for job seekers to October

Vodafone’s VOXI brand will give unlimited 5G data, calls and texts for just £10 a month to anyone who has lost their job as a result of the pandemic.

Vodafone has extended the availability of its £10 unlimited voice and 5G data plan for UK job seekers to anyone who has lost their job as a result of the pandemic. The plan, initially launched in November of last year, gives users unlimited mobile data, minutes and texts for just £10 a month, with no need for a credit check and no contract to sign.

With unemployment predicted to reach millions more by the end of 2021, the plan is designed to help reduce monthly outgoings for those who are most financially vulnerable.

The plan, which is available on Vodafone’s VOXI brand, is open to anyone (not just the under 25s) currently claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance or employment-based Universal Credit.

The offer lasts until 31 September 2021. Existing customers who have already taken up the offer will have the deal extended automatically to 31 October 2021.

To be eligible, customers will simply need to upload an image of their Universal Credit statement or a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions via the VOXI website that confirms they are in receipt of job-seeking benefits. Customer documents will be instantly verified allowing them to complete their account registration and purchase the plan.

The plan gives customers a 70% discount, as it would usually cost £35 a month.
