BlackBerry KEYTwo alleged Press Images appear online

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Some high quality renders of the purported successor to the BlackBerry KEYone have appeared online. The renders, found on the SIPO (State Intelligence Property Office) website, the Chinese Intellectual property regulation authority, show the KEYTwo from various angles in alleged press images.

I’m calling this the KEYTwo not because it is the official name of the device, but simply due to the fact that previous rumours describing the upcoming device as the KEYone Two seem absurd, although BlackBerry never really had great naming conventions regarding their smartphones. Talk about going into the PRIV for a Motion and you’ve covered that.

However, I digress. If the renders are indeed genuine, you can clearly see the front, rear, left and right sides, plus the top and bottom of the forthcoming handset.

There are a number of key, visible differences to its predecessor, the KEYOne. For starters, you can see a dual lens camera on the rear. Last year’s models only had a single lens unit.

The side frames and rear panel are made of plastic and brushed metal combo it seems, which look premium in black.

The keyboard also seems a little more sleek than on the KeyOne.

Coming to the side, there is a dedicated capture button apart from the volume rockers and power button. The USB Type-C Port, Speaker and Microphone are located at the bottom, while the headphone jack is present at the top.

The device is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 660 + 8GB RAM. Of course, it’s all speculation at this point.
