BlackBerry releases May 2020 Android Security Update

It may not be the June update but better than nothing

BlackBerry has released a security update to address multiple vulnerabilities in BlackBerry powered by Android smartphones. The update addresses issues in the May 2020 Android Security Bulletin that affect BlackBerry powered by Android smartphones.

If you own an Android device from BlackBerry and are not seeing the system update message, you can check manually by heading into Settings -> About phone -> System updates and checking manually.

Look for Android security patch level May 1, 2020 or later.

Updated software builds may also be available from other retailers or carriers, dependent on their deployment schedules.
