EE has launched its first own brand 5GEE WiFi mobile broadband device, supporting the latest WiFi 6 standard for superfast connectivity on the go and will be available on a range of 5G plans.
5GEE WiFi brings 5G speeds to any WiFi-enabled product, creating a personal, secure WiFi hotspot for up to 64 WiFi-enabled devices. Offering customers broadband speeds as fast as fibre with average download speeds of 150 Mb/s, 5GEE WiFi is perfect for gaming, streaming and downloading Ultra HD and 4K video.
EE’s 5G service is currently available in 112 towns and cities across the UK. In the last 12 months, EE has also more than doubled its amount of 5G sites in key cities such as Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff and Edinburgh, bringing the latest mobile technology to even more people.
5GEE WiFi also supports the next generation standard in WiFi technology, Wi-Fi 6. Wi-Fi 6 helps increases the 5GEE WiFi device’s efficiency in heavy bandwidth usage scenarios – perfect for connecting large numbers of devices and high bandwidth services such as AR and VR.

Available on a range of price plans, existing pay monthly mobile customers can purchase 5GEE WiFi with 50GB of data from £45 a month on a 24-month plan, with 100GB of data for £67.50 per month, or with and 200GB of data for £90 per month.
