The Honor 9X is now available in the UK. The smartphone launched in China over the summer and was announced before Huawei was placed on the US Entity List meaning it still features Google services.
The Honor 9X is powered by a 12nm HiSilicon Kirin 710F chipset. It has a triple camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. It also comes with a 16MP selfie camera, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery.
Honor 9X comes with a motorised pop-up selfie camera, and the phone boasts a 6.59-inch notch-less display panel with very thin bezels on all sides.
Honor 9X comes with a USB Type-C charging port and 3.5mm audio jack. From the software side, it has EMUI 9.1 (Android 9) as well as Google Mobile Services.
Other features include GPU Turbo 3.0 and more. The phone is available two colour options of Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue.
The rear of the device is textured in a way that, when light hits it at a certain angle, it creates a pattern that resembles the letter X.

Honor 9X comes with the usual Google apps, as well as a few of Huawei’s own, including the Huawei App Gallery, which is the company’s own fledgling app marketplace.
Honor 9X comes with a 10W charger that charges the phone fairly quickly, although wireless charging is not available.
