Microsoft’s voice assistant – Cortana – is Microsoft’s take on Apple’s Siri and Google Now. While Microsoft’s digital assistant is currently only available in the US, Microsoft wants to show off some its capabilities.
To that end, Microsoft have released a brief “educational†video, centered around Cortana’s skills. The video reveals that “she†(as Microsoft refers to its voice assistant) will not only answer your questions, but will also keep tabs on your interests and preferences, thus creating a more personal experience.
While it gets the job done, this is not as impressive as their plans to endow Cortana with deep-learning and recognition functionalities.[signoff predefined=”Enjoy this?” icon=”icon-users”][/signoff]
