Global IoT and mobile data specialist Cellhire achieved great success at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, providing over 5,000 mobile connections to teams, sponsors, media and other attendees.
Global media, including public and commercial tv and radio, online-streaming broadcasters and press agencies, utilised a combination of large data bundles on Cellhire SIM cards, mobile hotspots, smartphones and other value-added telecoms services to allow them to coordinate their operations at the World Cup in an effective and highly secure manner on Ooredoo’s 5G network.
