Microsoft have signed a partnership with Epic Games that will make Fortnite playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming and free on all supported browser, enabled devices.
A US federal judge ruling will allow Apple to continue to bar the Fortnite game from its App Store, but also sets out that it cannot harm publisher Epic Games' developer tools business, which includes the Unreal Engine software use by other video games.
Apple has terminated the developer account of Epic Games - the maker of Fortnite with which it's engaged in a pitched legal battle. This means that even owners of previously purchased series like Infinity Blade can't re-download the games.
