Google has launched the Android Development with Kotlin curriculum that gives instructors a plan to follow when teaching students how to write apps for Android devices.
Google today released Android Studio 3.5, the latest version of its integrated development environment (IDE), with a specific focus on “product quality.” This release is the last one under Project Marble, the name for an initiative Google announced late last year to improve Android Studio.
Google has announced Android Studio 3.1 is now stable and available, featuring enhanced Kotlin support, smaller builds, recent IntelliJ platform updates and more. Since becoming a first-class programming language option along with Java and C++ last May, Kotlin has enjoyed popularity among developers and Android's core dev team.
