Google has unveiled its latest Pixel phones for 2020, the Pixel 5 5G, a 5G model of the Pixel 4a, and the Pixel 5. Too many, it's a confusing bunch. Let's take a further look and compare the spec and features of the Google Pixel 4, 4a, 4a 5G and Pixel 5.
In addition to launching the Pixel 5 today, Google unveiled the Pixel 4a 5G, a larger, 5G-enabled version of Google’s mid-range smartphone the Pixel 4a. It features a bigger 6.2in screen, larger battery, the same two cameras on the back and the same Snapdragon 765G chip as the Pixel 5, but has the same plastic body and design as its smaller, cheaper sibling.
Google launched the Pixel 4a back in August, and the mid-range smartphone is is now available to pre-order on O2, ahead of it going on sale on 1st October. The Pixel 4a has a 4.5% bigger screen than its predecessor but its body is 5.8% smaller overall. At only 144mm in length, 69.4mm in width, 8.8mm in thickness and weighing 143g, the Pixel 4a is one of the smallest phones you can buy in 2020.
