BlackBerry officially announced the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition Tuesday and it came as no surprise to be running BlackBerry 10.
A short video, with a set of images have appeared over at Mondo BlackBerry which allegedly show a pre-release BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition running Android.
Real, fake, or just a Passport running an Android launcher using the standard Android runtime? You can make your own mind up about that?

What makes me doubt the validity of these pictures, apart from what looks like operational flaws, is the lack of information in the photos taken.
If you are going to take photos of a BlackBerry phone running Android, why not show photos of the OS details and more relevant information of the OS it is running.
Personally, I hope this is not real. If BlackBerry do produce an Android smartphone, then it really has to come with the upcoming slider, not a passport.
Check out the pictures for yourself but take them with a pinch of salt.
