BlackBerry hosting a WatchDox by BlackBerry Live Product Demo

Back in April of this year, BlackBerry acquired WatchDox, a startup that developed cross-platform technology for digital rights management and for enterprises to share files securely.

In practice, what WatchDox allows is a business to securely share documents among employees and other authorized individuals. When those files have to leave the corporate circle of trust — for example, to be sent to someone outside the organization — the security goes with them. This means that a video clip or sensitive contract or memo cannot be downloaded and posted elsewhere.

WatchDox works with a lot of different verticals, listing energy, finance, government, healthcare media and technology among them, and counts “more than 150 of the Fortune 1000″ as customers.

WatchDox: Secure Enterprise File Sharing and Mobile Content Management

BlackBerry have already ran a few webcasts about WatchDox but they are now hosting a new one, where you can see a live product demonstration.

In this 45 minute product demo, you will learn how your organization can:

  • Extend file repositories and file shares to securely collaborate with both internal and external users from any device.
  • Control, track and even revoke access to files that are shared with anyone, keeping your organization’s data safe everywhere it travels.
  • Leverage secure viewing, annotation, editing and creation tools to create new mobile workflows to make your organization more productive, without compromising content security.

BlackBerry will be hosting the event at two different times and you can register for the time that suits you best.

Wednesday July 29 3pm to 4pm (GMT)
