BlackBerry COO Marty Beard today released a statement via the BlackBerry blogs, in an attempt to clarify the company position on a number of areas including device strategy and their commitment to BlackBerry 10.
According to Chief Operating Officer Marty Beard, BlackBerry won’t rule out producing another smartphone running the BlackBerry 10 Operating system.
Earlier this week, BlackBerry announced that it’s planning to discontinue its Classic smartphone, the last BlackBerry handset to feature the traditional keyboard and trackpad dominating the face of the phone.
BlackBerry have promised to deliver security patches on a monthly basis for the BlackBerry Priv, and so far they are keeping good on that promise. The company has today rolled out the July Security upgrade.
