OPPO took the stage at Gitex in Dubai today to officially announce the OPPO R7s. Like other devices in the R7 series, the OPPO R7s features a metal unibody design that is simply stunning.
The new phone comes equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a fast charging 3700mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
It also packs the same mid-range Snapdragon 615 processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel shooter up front.
The R7s runs Android 5.1 Lollipop along with Oppo’s own ColorOS version 2.1.
The Oppo R7s is also a big upgrade when it comes to design. The original sharp metal edges have been smoothed out for a curvier design, and the company uses 2.5D glass so the screen slopes in slightly on either side where it meets the edge.
It comes in gold or silver.
Oppo’s new phone launches in Asia and Australia next month followed by the U.S. and Europe in December. The company still hasn’t revealed pricing.
