OnePlus has announced that they have started rolling out OxygenOS 3.2.0 update for the OnePlus 3, bringing a number of big fixes to the phone, like sRGB mode in developer options, enhanced RAM management, camera quality fixes and more.
The biggest highlight is a few tweaks to the way the phone manages its RAM. Though the OnePlus 3 has a full 6GB of RAM on board, many early buyers had reported that the phone wasn’t properly allocating RAM and keeping apps in memory longer than expected.
OnePlus state:
“I want to thank all of you who have provided feedback. Your input has been absolutely valuable in ensuring that we produce a high quality update. Thank you for your patience and as always, we look forward to hearing your feedback on this one.”
Main Update Highlights include:
- Enabled sRGB mode in developer options.
- Improved RAM management.
- Improved GPS performance.
- Enhanced audio playback quality.
- Updated custom icon packs.
- Fixed some issues with notifications.
- Improved camera quality/functionality.
- Fixed some issues in Gallery.
- Implemented latest Google security patches.
- Fixed bugs in Clock/Music apps.
The update is rolling out now, and OnePlus anticipates all OnePlus 3 owners will see the update within 48 hours.
