EE broadband prices rising on June 26

EE has announced that its broadband prices are rising on June 26, with an average increase of £2 per month. Customers who signed up with EE or upgraded their account before February 29 will be affected. However, if you’ve signed up with EE since then, you won’t have to pay these higher costs.

While the company hasn’t said exactly how many customers will have to pay more, EE is writing to all of those affected to make them aware of the rise. These increases follow Sky raising its broadband prices on April 1.

The average price increase for EE broadband customers is going to be an additional £24 each year.

If you’re one of the customers whose price is going up and you feel unhappy with the increased price of your broadband package, an you’re within the minimum terms of your contract with EE, you can cancel your contract without paying a penalty within 30 days of receiving notice of the price increase.
