Viral word game, ‘Wordle’, has been acquired by The New York Times. Wordle was acquired from its creator, Josh Wardle, a software engineer in Brooklyn, for a price “in the low seven figures,” The Times said. The company said the game would initially remain free to new and existing players.

NVIDIA and Mellanox have reached a definitive agreement under which NVIDIA will acquire Mellanox. Pursuant to the agreement, NVIDIA will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Mellanox for $125 per share in cash, representing a total enterprise value of approximately $6.9 billion. Once complete, the combination is expected to be immediately accretive to NVIDIA’s non-GAAP gross margin, non-GAAP earnings per share and free cash flow.

SiriusXM is to acquire Pandora in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $3.5 billion, the companies announced Monday. According to the announcement, the deal will create the world’s largest audio-entertainment company, with more than $7 billion in projected revenue in 2018.
