EE switches on 5G in 13 more Towns and Cities

EE switches on service in 13 new UK towns, including Halifax, Leamington Spa and St Alb

EE has switched on 5G in thirteen new UK locations, taking the number of towns and cities with access to the operator’s 5G network to 125.

The firm’s new data network is now available in Burton-upon-Trent, Cannock, Grimsby, Halifax, Ipswich, Leamington Spa, Middlesbrough, Neath, Portishead, St Albans, Stockport, Swinton and Tamworth.

Marc Allera, chief executive of BT’s consumer division, said:
