Verizon has today announced the creation of a global Zero-Trust Architecture, achieved by embedding a Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) over its private IP MPLS network. Verizon’s Zero Trust network essentially blocks connectivity from unknown devices, making corporate data virtually invisible to anyone without approved access, mitigating against credential theft and server exploitation.

Huawei gives staff $389 million for their loyalty

Huawei is giving $389 million in cash rewards to staff helping it weather a US trade blacklisting. A company announcement circulated Tuesday on social media said 90,000 employees will share 2 billion yuan ($389 million), or about 22,000 yuan ($3,100) each. Huawei's 180,000-member workforce also will receive an extra month's salary.

ARM to Supply Huawei With Chip Tech again

Chip manufacturer ARM is to resume its supply of chips to Huawei after cutting them off in May thanks to the US-China trade war. EE quietly opened pre-orders for the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G Thursday, and Vodafone, with little fanfare, has now followed suit. The 5G phone is available to order on 5G plans ranging from £68 per month with £29 upfront to £81 per month with £29 upfront cost.  Vodafone's 5G plans have no limits, while you have a a choice of data limits on 5g ready plans.

HTC has suspended the sale of its smartphones in the UK, as part of an ongoing patent dispute.
