Tap to Pay on IPhone
Adyen is working with Apple to offer Tap to Pay on iPhone for its U.S. customers later this year. The solution allows Adyen’s U.S. customers to use their iPhones to accept contactless payments, without the need to purchase or manage additional hardware or payment terminals.

Apple is now requiring all developers to use the company's two-factor authentication protocol to protect their Apple IDs. Apple has required new Apple Developer Program signups to have two-factor authentication enabled for a while now and this change is now being brought to all existing developer accounts.

Apple today announced that Apple Arcade will be available on the App Store on Thursday, September 19 with iOS 13, offering a new way to enjoy games without limits. With a subscription to Apple Arcade for £4.99 per month, users get unlimited access to the entire catalogue of over 100 new, exclusive games, all playable across iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV.
FaceTime
Apple today showed previews of its FaceTime video chat, adding the ability to schedule calls with multiple attendees and making the software compatible with Android and Windows devices. For the first time, FaceTime calls will extend beyond Apple devices.

Apple launched a credit card at the “Show Time” event called Apple Card. It’s an actual titanium-based MasterCard credit card made in partnership with Goldman Sachs. The card has no late fees, annual fees, over limit fees, and international fees. The card will have your name etched with laser on the card.

Apple is to remove the ability to install home screen web apps from iPhones and iPads in Europe when iOS 17.4 is released, saying it's too difficult to keep offering the feature under the European Union's new Digital Markets Act (DMA).

Apple has sent out invitations for this year's iPhone event. The tag line reads "Hey Siri, give us a hint!". It is of course expected that hint will include the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and possibly the new Apple TV.
