Apple today showed previews of its FaceTime video chat, adding the ability to schedule calls with multiple attendees and making the software compatible with Android and Windows devices. For the first time, FaceTime calls will extend beyond Apple devices.

Apple today revealed that the App Store ecosystem facilitated $643 billion in billings and sales during 2020, a 24 percent year-over-year increase. An independent study by economists from the Analysis Group found that developers selling goods and services across many categories grew their businesses while reaching customers around the world.
Incognia
Location identity company Incognia has launched its Developer Edition, a free version of Incognia’s mobile fraud prevention solution for mobile app developers. The offering allows mobile developers to add frictionless fraud prevention to fintech and mcommerce apps, enabling UX design and account security within their apps.
European Commission
The European Commission has issued a Statement of Objections saying Apple has "distorted competition in the music streaming market as it abused its dominant position for the distribution of music streaming apps through its App Store."
