BT has announced that it will launch 5G mobile network services in 20 towns and cities across the UK this Friday (October 11). They include Cardiff, Birmingham, Belfast, Bristol, Coventry, Leicester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, Sheffield, Leeds and Newcastle.

BT today made its formal submission to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, seeking approval for the proposed acquisition of EE. The company has said the acquisition will be good for competition, investment and innovation in the UK - and that consumers and businesses will benefit as a result.
