iOS 17.1.1 brings BMW wireless charging fix

iOS 17.1.1 sorts NFC issues and wireless charging

Apple has released iOS 17.1.1, bringing a fix for the wireless charging issue on BMW cars and iPhone 15’s, although Apple doesn’t directly name any car manufacturer.

“In rare circumstances, Apple Pay and other NFC features may become unavailable on iPhone 15 models after wireless charging in certain cars.”

Apple had posted a service bulletin through its authorized service provider network that noted the problem, linking it to the use of a “small number” of wireless chargers included with some BMW and Toyota Supra vehicles.

In addition, there is a fix where the Weather Lock Screen widget was not correctly displaying snow.
