Netflix Nest Hub

Netflix now available on Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max

Netflix finally arrives on the Nest Hub and the Nest Hub Max

Netflix is finally available on Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max smart displays, rolling out today on Nest smart displays globally wherever the service and Nest devices are currently available.

If you have a Netflix subscription, simply link your account in the Google Home or Assistant app and you can play Netflix movies, TV shows and documentaries by using your voice.

Say, “Hey Google, play Snowpiercer” to start streaming instantly, or try, “Hey Google, open Netflix” to scroll through select content and start watching with a simple tap.

“We want members to control how and what they watch on whatever device they are using,” a Netflix spokeswoman said.

“They can now use voice prompts to watch their favourite Netflix shows and films on Google Nest Smart Displays. We look forward to continuing to work with Google to improve the member experience.”

You can launch the Netflix service or individual titles by issuing voice commands to the Google devices. For example, saying “Hey Google, open Netflix” launches the streaming service and allows you to scroll through content and start watching by tapping a title.

You can also pause, play or skip forward via Google Assistant commands (or use the Hub Max’s Quick Gestures feature to pause or resume video by looking at the device and raising your hand).
