Most derivatives in the Elroq range qualify for the ECG, with the exception of the range-topping Elroq vRS.

Derivatives in the recently updated Enyaq range are also eligible for the ECG discount of £1,500, but only those with the smaller 60kWh battery.

Skoda eligible models:

  • Elroq SE 50 55kWh 125kW
  • Elroq SE L 60 63kWh 150kW
  • Elroq SE L 85 82kWh 210kW
  • Elroq Edition 60 63kWh 150kW
  • Elroq Edition 85 82kWh 210kW
  • Elroq SportLine 60 63kWh 150kW
  • Elroq SportLine 85 82kWh 210kW
  • Enyaq SE L 60 63 kWh 150 kW

The new additions are part of a £650 million scheme aimed at making EVs more accessible and affordable for families.

The grant, which is automatically applied at the point of sale, is capped at vehicles costing up to £37,000 to ensure the focus remains on the most economical options.

The government is investing a total of £4.5 billion to support the transition to EVs, in the hope of reinforcing the UK’s position as a leader in the European EV market.

Heidi Alexander, transport secretary, said:

“Our Electric Car Grant is slashing prices for consumers, putting thousands of pounds back into people’s pockets, whilst powering up growth and supporting jobs as part of Plan of Change.”

“By cutting upfront costs and boosting our charging infrastructure we’re helping more people become EV owners, backing industry, and delivering on our promise to make the UK a clean energy superpower.”
