O2 has today launched 'O2 extras', enabling customers to choose from a broad range of digital perks. With O2 extras, customers can take customisation further by choosing Amazon Prime Video and getting access to a range of top films and Amazon Original TV shows like The Grand Tour, Good Omens, The Boys and exclusive Premier League matches in December; or choosing Amazon Music to enjoy unlimited access to more than 50 million songs, ad-free ; or choosing the world’s largest selection of audiobooks and original podcasts with Audible; or access to hundreds of the UK’s most popular magazines with Cafeyn.
Microsoft’s new 4G, 2-in-1 laptop, the Surface Pro X, is now available on O2 as a UK network operator exclusive on custom plans from today. The Surface Pro X is a premium, lightweight and ultra-thin device that features a beautiful edge-to-edge 13” PixelSense OLED touchscreen display and Windows 10.
O2 has launched a new range of Pay-As-You-Go Bundles, which include unlimited calls and texts as standard but require you to top-up every month in order to get the allowance. The bundles include O2 Priority, (with unique member benefits and discounts).
O2 has unveiled a new experimental store format in partnership with retailer, NEXT. The pilot, known by O2 as Shop-in-Shop, will see four new O2 stores opened within NEXT stores across the country, with ambitions to roll out more widely in the coming months.
O2 5G
O2 today turned on 5G in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Slough and Leeds with a promise to have 20 total locations by the end of 2019. It offers four 5G phones, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G, Samsung Galaxy A90 5G and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G.

O2 has joined the rest of the UK's main carriers and launched unlimited data plans of its own. These start from £33 per month on an 18-month SIM-only plan, or can be had for £35 per month on a 12-month SIM plan and with variable pricing alongside select handsets.
