BlackBerry and Fast Telecom sign distribution agreement to expand Middle East and North Africa footprint

BlackBerry continue the transformation into a software services company with more and more global distribution agreements being signed on a regular basis.

Following the success of BlackBerry and Exclusive Networks partnership in Australia and the Nordic region, the companies recently extended their distribution agreement into the UK, Benelux and DACH. A distribution agreement with TechAccess, a leading VAR in the Middle East, North Africa, LEVANT & Pakistan further expanded the company’s software vendor and solution portfolio.

Not stopping there, BlackBerry and Fast Telecom, headquartered in the UAE, have announced that they have signed a distribution agreement.

As part of the agreement, Fast Telecom now offers BlackBerry devices to customers across the region, including UAE, KSA, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt and Morocco.

“Today Fast Telecom and BlackBerry have signed an agreement that will enhance the footprint of BlackBerry devices and widen the company’s distribution network for mobile devices in Middle East and North Africa,” said Mohammed Albarghuthi, the Co-Chairman of Fast Telecom.

John Chen Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BlackBerry said,
