Nokia WING
Nokia is to collaborate with HMD Global using Nokia’s Worldwide IoT Network Grid (WING) to enable seamless global IoT connectivity for HMD’s IoT solution for enterprises. The collaboration will allow enterprise customers of the HMD Connect Pro service to track and manage connected devices around the world.
Vodafone Curve Bike light and GPS tracker
Vodafone has launched the Curve Bike light & GPS tracker. With an ultrabright LED and three light modes that automatically brightens when braking, Curve Bike light & GPS tracker gives cyclists a safer ride no matter what time of day it is. The device combines intelligent lighting with GPS tracking and connection to Vodafone’s global network with a built-in Smart SIM providing assurance that the rider is safer and that the bike is secure.
Private 5G
Samsung are collaborating with Microsoft on an end-to-end, cloud-based private 5G network solution. As a part of this collaboration, the two companies plan to advance the virtualization of 5G solutions, which will include the deployment of Samsung’s virtualized RAN, virtualized Core, and Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) technologies on Microsoft Azure.
